Assessment blueprints are designed to show educators a summary of what will be assessed in each grade, including the approximate number of items that will address each standard. Blueprints also detail which standards will be assessed on Part I of TNReady and which will be assessed on Part II. This will help educators as they plan for the upcoming school year. The blueprints below were updated October 2, 2015. If the files do not appear to have been revised, hit cntl+F5 while the pdf is in the browser window.

All student essays on will be scored against a trait-based rubric. Each type of writing at each grade/band has a unique set of scoring guidelines.
Test developers have Tennessee-specific guidelines for what types of texts will be included on the TNReady ELA assessment. This document provides instructional implications and helpful information for teachers about the texts on TNReady.
