Uranium Processing Facility Supplier's Outreach Forum

Outreach event for companies to learn how they can get involved in building our nation's new Uranium Processing Facility at the National Nuclear Security Administration's Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Gain insight into upcoming UPF procurements, build business partnerships and networks for bidding opportunities, and share a role in protecting America's nuclear security.

Local Government Planning Advisory Committee Meeting

Local Government Planning Advisory Committee quarterly meeting

Why: The Local Government Planning Advisory Committee consists of seven local government officials appointed by the Governor. The Committee is responsible for making recommendations to the Commissioner of the Department of Economic and Community Development on the operations of the Local Planning Assistance Office. It has authority over the creation and amendment to regional planning commission jurisdiction and specified appointments to certain regional planning commissions. County growth plans, as required in Chapter 58 of Title 6, must receive final approval from the Committee before they become effective.
