Information Technology

ECD's Information Technology (IT) team manages the planning, resources, execution and coordination of the information technology needs of the department. IT is responsible for all information technology in the department in mainframe and LAN/WAN environments and provides support and management for all LAN/WAN services and Internal Application Developments.

Mission:

Provide the State of Tennessee, Department of Economic and Community Development with the best and most cost effective information technology resources necessary to fulfill its legally mandated roles. In support of the Department's Mission the IT division is tasked with providing purchased hardware and software, "in house developed" software, technical support and general knowledge support in all areas of information systems and technology, as well as, data collection, retention, dissemination, security and retirement/destruction.
