IRIS, a program developed by the Employee Relations and Information Systems divisions in DOHR, reduces Sick Leave Bank (SLB) costs by eliminating printing and data entry and reducing membership application related inquiries. It simplifies the SLB enrollment process by allowing potential members to apply for membership on-line. With IRIS, employees no longer need to mail their membership applications or worry that the application may be lost in the mail. IRIS also allows employees to confirm instantly that their information was successfully submitted to the Bank, print a confirmation for their records or instantly confirm their membership status.

As a result of this new innovation, the Employee Relations and Information Systems divisions received DOHR's SPOT (Superior Performance On Target) award. Congratulations to Employee Relations and Information Systems!!!
