Career Service Employment Testing

Photo - Applicants are taking tests at the employee testing center in the Department of Human Resources.

Of the approximately 1,300 job classifications in the Tennessee Career Service system, only the 65 listed below require a written test. To participate in a written test, you must first submit an application for the job. Go to the Current Openings web page to see if applications are currently being accepted for any of these jobs. If a job of interest to you is available, click on the "Apply" link to begin the application process. The application you submit will be reviewed to determine whether or not you meet the minimum education, experience, or other requirements for the job. If you are approved as qualified, you will be sent a test admission notification. Tests are administered on a daily basis (Mon.-Fri.) at the Department of Human Resources in Nashville. Approved applicants may be admitted for testing any time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (no appointment necessary).
