General Obligation Bond Sale
The Tennessee State Funding Board intends to sell at competitive sale its $125,800,000 2008 Series A Bonds and $15,360,000 2008 Series B (Federally Taxable) Bonds at 9:30 a.m. Central Daylight Time and 10:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time respectively on August 20, 2008.

State of Tennessee Rating Presentation
The Tennessee State Funding Board presented information to Moody’s Investors Service, Standard and Poor’s and Fitch Ratings on August 4 and August 5, 2008. The Funding Board anticipates that ratings relating to its general obligation bonds will be released on Friday, August 15, 2008 by each of the above mentioned rating agencies.
