| Course Description |
This course is designed to give the student actual heavy rescue scenarios and strictly adheres to NFPA
1670 and 1006. This course is a continuation of Vehicle and Machinery Extrication-FR230. Topics
include the use of specialized rescue tools (including heavy lift air bags, high and low pressure bags, and
torches), estimate the weight of a vehicle and the features of different materials used in the construction
of vehicles and machinery, using a “lock out/tag out” system, effective techniques for dismantling
machinery and how to safely disentangle victims of vehicle, agricultural equipment or machinery
accidents. |
