This course is designed as a preparatory course to assist the new inspector in preparing to sit for the ICC,
Residential Building Inspection exam. Topics include an understanding of simple residential construction,
primarily wood frame construction. Additional topics include foundation walls, structural components,
means of egress and fire separation requirements.
