This course is designed as a preparatory course to assist the new inspector in preparing to sit for the ICC,
Commercial Building Inspector Exam. This course is taught using the ICC format and provides the
student with the knowledge and skills needed to examine buildings and structures for compliance with the
International Building Code. Topics include structural components, non-structural components and
inspection / enforcement methods.
