  • Ms. Frankie McCord
    Representative, Tennessee Federation on Aging (TFA)
    Term of Appointment: January 23, 2007 - September 30, 2012

  • Ms. McCord has worked extensively with all ages and groups in Crockett County. She has been a member of the Tennessee Industrial Development Council, was named Professional of the Year 2006, and Crockett County Woman of the Year 1997. As Director of the Crockett Chamber of Commerce, Ms. McCord became familiar with county and state demographics, resources, and state and local government. She has worked with adult education programs that encouraged more participation and fostered support for life-long learning. She has coordinated the Governor's Three Star Program for Crockett County and has been a long-time supporter of aging programs and was involved with the building of a new senior center in Crockett County. She continues to encourage adequate funding, programs to meet the needs of seniors, and participation of eligible citizens. Currently, Ms. McCord serves as the Executive Director of the Ripley Downtown Development Corporation in Ripley, TN.

  • Ms. McCord has a B.S. Degree in Business/Accounting from Jackson State Community College, and is a graduate from the Southeast School of Banking, Vanderbilt Univ. Ms. McCord resides in Alamo, TN.

  • Ms. McCord was appointed as Chair of the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability (TCAD) Legislative Committee in November of 2010.
