Mission Statement

“To enhance the quality of life of the senior citizens of McMinn County by providing a broad spectrum of services pertaining to social, nutritional, educational, recreational, physical fitness, physical and emotional health irrespective of income, sex, culture, age, disability, or ethnic origin, and to consistently meet the expectations of the community that we serve.”

  • Physical Fitness, i.e. Senior Olympics, Dancing, Shuffleboard, Horseshoes, Pickleball, Tai Chi, Aerobics, Exercise Room, Billiards, Gardening, Walking Track, Shuffleboard & Horseshoe facilities
  • Health Screenings, i.e. Blood Pressures, Monthly Health Screening, Memory Screenings, Annual Health Fair, Hearing Aide Bank
  • Educational, i.e. Computer Classes, a variety of Health Education, Craft Classes, Crochet & Knit Classes, Medicare & AARP Tax Assistance
  • Nutritional, i.e. Congregate and Home Delivered Meals, Cooking Classes with Agricultural Extension Service
  • Recreational, i.e. Travel, Bingo, Chorus, Card Groups, Library, Quilting
