Hurricane Ike Related Price Gouging Settlements
The State contended that these companies operated gasoline service stations which violated the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act by unreasonably raising the price of gasoline in response to Hurricane Ike.
How to Claim A Refund: Under the Weigel’s settlement, refunds are available, should it be approved by a Judge. If you purchased gasoline at one of the stores contained in the First Amended Complaint during the dates and times referenced in the First Amended Complaint, go to the Price Gouging Online Complaint Form and fill in as much information as possible to submit a claim for a refund. You may be asked for further verifying information depending on the number of claims and information submitted.
