Application must be pre-approved prior to equipment purchase in order to qualify.
EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES GUIDELINES
Applicants can only receive one Veterinarian Equipment cost share reimbursement per year.

  1. Mobile veterinary unit inserts
  2. Mobile veterinary full body units
  3. Commercial head gate
  4. Squeeze chute*
  5. Palpation cage
  6. Curved or offset working chute
  7. Holding chute/alleyway
  8. Loading chute and/or system
  9. Crowding tub and/or system
  10. Holding pen and/or hospital pen
  11. Animal scales*
  12. Hoof trimming table/chute
  13. Semen tank
  14. Radio frequency readers
    (must be capable of reading animal identification approved by U.S. Department of Agriculture)
  1. Computer & software for reading scanners
    (must provide recording and transmittal of animal identification)
  2. Cattle BSE equipment
    limited to the following items:
    a. Electroejaculator and leads
    b. Semen collection device and holder
    c. Insulated jacket cover for semen sample
    d. Microscope
    e. Warming stage for cold weather
    f. Semen stains and fixatives
  3. Electronic health certificate service
    100% cost share ($400 max) this service only
